Detox your body… detox your diet!

A great place to start a spring clean is with your liver, your body’s very own cleansing and recycling station. Like most of your body, your liver’s function is enhanced or hampered by what foods you choose to include in your diet.

A good daily intake of fresh fruit and vegetables, along with high quality protein from eggs, fish and meat will also aid the process.

You should also closely watch your fluid intake for optimium liver performance. Be sure to include plenty of fresh fruit and vegetable juices and where possible herbal teas. Try to avoid alcoholic drinks, coffee and processed sugars and if you do indulge, try to keep these to a minimum.
